There are a variety of uses for this technology, all utilizing this patents primary feature: through direct mechanical coupling, to provide precise positioning of rotating elements, or accurate measurement of transmitted torque.

The manifold applications include, precise repeatable filament feed on a rotating weed trimmer head, precise measurement of torque on a rotating shaft for all size power systems, fast-acting control of balanced, eccentric weights on feed chute shaker system, and precise, dynamic control of exposure/shutter timing.

Additional applications include all situations where precise manipulation of rotating elements through manipulation of non rotating parts would be an advantage.
